Hello! My name is Jessica Flot, and in 2018 I began my journey as a new bonus mom to three awesome children. With three daughters of my own, my family grew overnight. Newly married we had six kids between us! Yes, six!
I was ready! I can do this! Or so I thought…
With our own children we have the opportunity to connect, to bond, and to learn with one another, but it’s a different process with step children. There is no natural bond, it takes time and effort. There is no guide or handbook on the “how to’s”. It took a lot of time, fervent prayer, and it was a huge learning curve for all of us in our home.
